Yoel Vergara

Yoel Vergara Gamez is a dedicated Registered Mental Health Intern and a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) with a strong foundation in psychology and over a decade of experience in the mental health field. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Habana University in 2012, which set the stage for his career in supporting individuals through various psychological challenges. Building on his expertise, Yoel obtained his BCaBA certification in 2021 and completed a Master of Science in Psychology with a focus on Mental Health Counseling in 2023, further enhancing his ability to provide high-quality care.

Throughout his career, Yoel has gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children with behavioral difficulties and elderly individuals who have faced trauma and mental health concerns. This wide-ranging experience has given him a deep understanding of the complex behavioral and emotional issues that clients may encounter, allowing him to offer personalized and empathetic support.
