Dr. Eduardo Bustillo

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Eduardo Jesus Bustillo was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Cartagena, Colombia, where he completed his early education. He later returned to the United States, beginning his healthcare journey in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned his Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in 1989.


Dr. Bustillo holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences from Nova Southeastern University, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Florida Atlantic University, certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and a Master of Science in Psychology with a major in Marriage and Family Therapy.


Fluent in Spanish, he provides comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, specializing in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, addiction, and behavioral challenges across the lifespan. His work includes individual, couples, family, and group therapy, with a focus on restoring relationships, strengthening families, and supporting recovery.


Dr. Bustillo integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and individualized treatment planning. When desired by clients, he also incorporates faith-based principles to support emotional and spiritual healing.
