Sonya Wright, LMHC, Q.S.

Sonya Wright is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Florida Qualified Supervisor with a career spanning more than 35 years across diverse areas of person-centered care. Her experience encompasses counselor education, substance abuse prevention and treatment, HIV prevention and treatment, and mental health services.

Throughout her career, Sonya has served as a case manager and supervisor, a Ryan White Program mental health provider for Miami-Dade County, and faculty with the University of Miami's Comprehensive AIDS Program. She has also held leadership roles in private practice settings.

 

Sonya is currently completing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, with her dissertation in progress.
