Maria Diaz is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI). She holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Albizu University – Miami Campus and completed her Verified Course Sequence in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of West Florida. Maria has been in the field since 2016, progressing from Registered Behavior Technician to BCaBA before earning her BCBA in 2024.

She provides behavioral services to children and adolescents across home, school, and community settings, specializing in the assessment and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a bilingual clinician fluent in English and Spanish, Maria is committed to culturally responsive care and believes meaningful progress comes through close collaboration with families — ensuring skills learned in therapy generalize into everyday life.

Maria is passionate about empowering parents to become confident advocates for their children, drawing from both her ABA expertise and her mental health counseling background to support the whole family, not just the child. She is equally invested in mentoring RBTs, emphasizing treatment integrity, ethical practice, and compassionate care. As a mother of two daughters herself, she brings a personal understanding of the joys and challenges of parenting to every family she serves.
