Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Janelle Silvestre, RMHCI, is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a Master of Science in Psychology, concentration in Counseling, from Florida International University. She works with children, adolescents, and adults across community mental health and outpatient settings, supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and emotional regulation.

Janelle's approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy, adapted to each client's needs, strengths, and experiences. She works with warmth and curiosity, and is especially drawn to clients who feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unsure of where they fit.
