Mayren Fraguela-Lam, LCSW, CAP, QS, serves as the Clinical Director and Qualified Supervisor at Behavioral Turning Point. Her extensive background in mental health and substance use treatment underscores her dedication to meeting the complex needs of individuals and families. Dr. Linda Collado MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Linda Collado is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with a fellowship completed at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and currently serves as an Affiliated Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital. In this role, she teaches and supervises medical students and psychiatrists in training, contributing to the advancement of psychiatric education.

Dr. Collado is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the American Medical Association. Her professional background includes working in Crisis at Jackson Memorial Behavioral Health Hospital as a Psychiatric Emergency Room attending physician, and at the University of Miami Counseling Center, where she provided care for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Odalis Romero is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a wealth of experience in both counseling and special education. She is currently advancing her expertise by pursuing a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision at Liberty University. Odalis has a strong background in working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, offering individual and family counseling services. Additionally, she plays a vital role at Behavioral Turning Point by supervising and mentoring new therapists.

Beyond her clinical work, Odalis has taught university courses and has held positions as a special education administrator and teacher. She is actively involved in her community and has made significant contributions to professional literature and conferences. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Odalis holds several prestigious certifications, including National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), specializing in trauma therapy.

Briana Saavedra M.S. Ed.S., NCC
Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern
Briana is a National Certified Counselor and Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as a Master of Science and Education Specialist Degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University. With a wealth of experience, Briana has effectively worked with diverse and specialized populations, particularly those dealing with trauma and personality disorders.

Throughout her career, Briana has collaborated closely with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other health professionals, honing her expertise in evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and psychodynamic therapy.

Her clinical and professional background has led her to specializing in providing individual, group, couples, and family therapy to clients aged 5 and older. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami, a Master's Degree in Social Work from Barry University, and a Level 1 Director Credential from the Department of Children and Families (DCF). As a certified practitioner in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Breathwork.

Vanessa is a dedicated Mental Health Counselor and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the State of Florida. With a rich background as a Clinical Psychologist gained while living and working abroad, Vanessa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and has pursued advanced post-graduate studies in perinatal mental health and couple’s therapy.​

Andrea earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Habana University in 2012, which set the stage for his career in supporting individuals through various psychological challenges. Building on his expertise, Yoel obtained his BCaBA certification in 2021 and completed a Master of Science in Psychology with a focus on Mental Health Counseling in 2023, further enhancing his ability to provide high-quality care.
