Mayren’s academic achievements, combined with her hands-on experience at Citrus Health Network, have provided her with a rich skill set and a strong foundation in interdisciplinary collaboration. She is a strong advocate for holistic treatment planning, ensuring that care is comprehensive and tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Her commitment to social justice is evident in her work with diverse populations, including elders, the homeless, substance users, and children in the foster care system. Mayren’s expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) also enables her to effectively support clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families, demonstrating her adaptability and breadth of knowledge.

Dr. Linda Collado is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with a fellowship completed at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and currently serves as an Affiliated Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital. In this role, she teaches and supervises medical students and psychiatrists in training, contributing to the advancement of psychiatric education.

Dr. Collado is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the American Medical Association. Her professional background includes working in Crisis at Jackson Memorial Behavioral Health Hospital as a Psychiatric Emergency Room attending physician, and at the University of Miami Counseling Center, where she provided care for both undergraduate and graduate students.

In her practice, Dr. Collado offers comprehensive psychiatric care, integrating medication management with supportive therapy. Odalis Romero is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a wealth of experience in both counseling and special education. She is currently advancing her expertise by pursuing a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision at Liberty University. Odalis has a strong background in working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, offering individual and family counseling services. Additionally, she plays a vital role at Behavioral Turning Point by supervising and mentoring new therapists.

Beyond her clinical work, Odalis has taught university courses and has held positions as a special education administrator and teacher. She is actively involved in her community and has made significant contributions to professional literature and conferences. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Odalis holds several prestigious certifications, including National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), specializing in trauma therapy.

Briana is a National Certified Counselor and Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as a Master of Science and Education Specialist Degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University. With a wealth of experience, Briana has effectively worked with diverse and specialized populations, particularly those dealing with trauma and personality disorders.

Throughout her career, Briana has collaborated closely with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other health professionals, honing her expertise in evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and psychodynamic therapy.

Robert is a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), with over a decade of dedicated service to the Miami-Dade County community. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, where he specialized in Psychiatric Mental Health. Robert is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), underscoring his commitment to maintaining the highest standards in psychiatric care.

Catherine Uribazo is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with a Master of Science in Psychology from Florida International University, specializing in Professional Counseling Psychology. With a strong foundation in both clinical practice and community outreach, Catherine has extensive experience working with diverse populations, ranging from children to adults, addressing a wide range of mental health conditions.

Her clinical and professional background has led her to  specializing in providing individual, group, couples, and family therapy to clients aged 5 and older. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and play therapy. She is committed to developing personalized treatment plans that meet each client's unique needs and is actively involved in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.

Catherine is continuously expanding her expertise through various certifications, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Gottman Method 1 Couples Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. She brings a compassionate and client-centered approach to her practice, ensuring that each individual receives the highest level of care in their mental health journey.​

Elmase is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with over a decade of dedicated service to the Miami-Dade County community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami, a Master's Degree in Social Work from Barry University, and a Level 1 Director Credential from the Department of Children and Families (DCF). As a certified practitioner in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Breathwork.

Throughout her distinguished career, Elmase has delivered comprehensive services to diverse populations within Miami-Dade County. Her professional portfolio encompasses case management for the City of Miami Beach Truancy Program, including home visits, intakes, assessments, interventions, and advocacy. Elmase has also spearheaded the development and implementation of after-school programs, managed grants, and fostered collaborative partnerships with esteemed organizations such as Barry University, The Children's Trust, The Advocacy Network on Disabilities, and Project Rise. Through her facilitation of family group conferencing and provision of referral services, Elmase consistently grounds her approach in a humanistic perspective and evidence-based best practices.

Vanessa is a dedicated Mental Health Counselor and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the State of Florida. With a rich background as a Clinical Psychologist gained while living and working abroad, Vanessa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and has pursued advanced post-graduate studies in perinatal mental health and couple’s therapy.​

Vanessa has extensive experience in individual psychotherapy, couple’s therapy, and family therapy. She has spent years helping patients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and various mental health issues. Her approach is diverse and adaptable, drawing on methodologies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and an integrative approach tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs.

As a passionate advocate for perinatal mental health and infertility awareness, Vanessa is committed to providing personalized care that considers the various factors influencing mental health. She values an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring that her patients receive comprehensive and holistic support.​ She is deeply committed to helping her patients feel understood and empowered. Her goal is to assist them in overcoming their challenges, regaining their strength, and finding happiness. 

Andrea Velazquez is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida, building on a strong educational foundation and hands-on experience in the field. Andrea earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami. Her journey in mental health began as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where she worked with children with autism, gaining valuable insights into developmental and behavioral challenges.

During Andrea's practicum at a community health agency, she had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, facing issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. Collaborating with other mental health professionals, she expanded her knowledge of evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.

Yoel Vergara Gamez is a dedicated Registered Mental Health Intern and a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) with a strong foundation in psychology and over a decade of experience in the mental health field. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Habana University in 2012, which set the stage for his career in supporting individuals through various psychological challenges. Building on his expertise, Yoel obtained his BCaBA certification in 2021 and completed a Master of Science in Psychology with a focus on Mental Health Counseling in 2023, further enhancing his ability to provide high-quality care.

Throughout his career, Yoel has gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children with behavioral difficulties and elderly individuals who have faced trauma and mental health concerns.
