Elmase Hoffman

Registered Social Work Intern

Elmase is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with over a decade of dedicated service to the Miami-Dade County community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami, a Master's Degree in Social Work from Barry University, and a Level 1 Director Credential from the Department of Children and Families (DCF). As a certified practitioner in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Breathwork.

Throughout her distinguished career, Elmase has delivered comprehensive services to diverse populations within Miami-Dade County. Her professional portfolio encompasses case management for the City of Miami Beach Truancy Program, including home visits, intakes, assessments, interventions, and advocacy. Elmase has also spearheaded the development and implementation of after-school programs, managed grants, and fostered collaborative partnerships with esteemed organizations such as Barry University, The Children's Trust, The Advocacy Network on Disabilities, and Project Rise. Through her facilitation of family group conferencing and provision of referral services, Elmase consistently grounds her approach in a humanistic perspective and evidence-based best practices.


As a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern, Elmase's professional role transcends direct patient care. Elmase's dedication to ongoing professional growth and development is exemplified by her active pursuit of advanced training and her commitment to leadership by example.
